Falling Leaves

I made this card for a falling leaves swap, but really my leaves are securely held in place with a brad so they best not be falling anywhere.
They refused to stick with liquid glue, double stick tape or even red line tape so they had to be tacked down with a brad.  The leaves are made from a kind of a strange plastic like stuff.  They were part of an autumn centerpiece on twisty wire.  I got to take some with me so I could play with the leaves.  That was a million zillion years ago so it is a good thing I finally used them, eh?

The Fine Print: Background stamping down with Rubber Stamp Tapestry peg stamps, Autumn greeting by Hero Arts, deckle edged scissors by Fiskars, and all that wonderful fall colored cardstock from my overly excessive fall cardstock stash.

Aah yes the lure of the faux leaves - I once drove specially to a lady's house to collect an advertised free bag of leaves and flowers from 'faux flower arranging'. Sat for hours sorting and dissecting the flowers and leaves. Still have most of it but one day there will be a project.... like your non- falling leaves, just gotta wait for the right time! Cindy, x

Your leaves look fabulous and I would never have guessed the brads were a last resort to get them to stay in place. Looks like great design. :) The leaves look like they have fabulous texture. Great fall card!
