First Wednesday in November

It's time for Workdesk Wednesday and here's my desk with fall papers and stamp sets on it along with my back ordered flip-flop die.  There are also some rolls of seam binding and the usual piles of random thing.  It's pretty much the same old/same old.  No Dio this time as he had some important cat things to attend to.
However, below is the desk I really wanted to show you, first the before picture (from my September 6 blog post) and the after photo.  It took me days to achieve this.  The wooden bin up front still needs to be sorted through and placed elsewhere as does a pile of cards over on an end table out of sign, but I'm quite pleased with the outcome--lots less crap!
Before
After
The Fine Print: A friend asked me if I ever changed the stuff on the bulletin board you can see in the photo of my rolltop desk and the answer is... obviously no. The plan was to change it all the time, different inspiration. I keep cards in some of the boxes that were on my computer desk but they were too hard to get to, so now maybe I'll do it.  Don't hold your breath though.

Aw, no cat photo bombing your picture, lol!! Wow, what a transformation in your work area, you did good! I never change the stuff on my bulletin board either, just like I could never keep a diary going for more than two days! I know, complete failure..... ;-)

Wow, that is a super improvement in the photos, how long before you get it back to the old mess?? It didn't take mine long to return. I have a bulletin board just like yours and it doesn't change either but it does attract more mess :) Did you notice the cats are never around when you need help with cleaning.
Have a great week,

Love the transformation! I have an "inspiration wall" and have to confess where I hang stuff I don't know what to do with. It does not get changed very much. It tends to be a dumping ground.

BTW I did own what I have lost - it's a gift I bought for a friend. Not a clue where it is.

wow, now thát is a change! Did it clear your head also? (I find that cleaning the desk/your stuff makes room in the mind for new ideas...) Enjoy, enjoy! Happy woyww (on Thursday) and big hug from (rainy) Holland... Marit #88

Congrats on your organizing.

I think those of us who are visual all have the same problem. Something has to be out in order for us to think of it, but if it's out for too long we cease to see it.

The solution is to have a system for constantly changing things, but I haven't figured it out yet. :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and for the kind comments.

Happy Woyww,
